HERITAGE CARE

HERITAGE CARE

Heritage Care is a dedicated, long-term approach to automobiles with character, history, and real value.
It is designed for owners who want their car to look exceptional — exterior, interior, and engine bay — but in a way that is correct, thoughtful, and sustainable over time.

This is not conventional detailing.
And it is not a service finished in a single day.

Heritage Care is a process, built on understanding materials, construction, and the true condition of each individual vehicle.

How We Approach a Car

Every vehicle that enters our space is treated as a unique whole.

There are no predefined packages.
There are no universal solutions.

Each approach is tailored to the specific car and its condition.

The goal of Heritage Care is clear:
to make the car look as good as it realistically can — for what it truly is.

If a vehicle can be brought very close to factory condition, we work in that direction.
If certain signs of age and use should remain, they do — but clean, stable, and correctly integrated into the vehicle as a whole.

Visual presence matters.
Shine matters.
But never at the expense of materials, originality, or long-term health.

Exterior & Bodywork

We treat the exterior as part of the vehicle’s identity.

All exterior work begins with careful hand washing and thorough cleaning using pH-neutral, material-safe products, selected according to paint type, vehicle age, and original factory finishes.

Paint & Finish

Paint correction and polishing are performed deliberately and conservatively:

  • removing light scratches and usage marks where it is safe to do so

  • applying localized corrections only where they improve the overall balance

  • restoring depth, clarity, and natural gloss without aggressive material removal

Original paint is a value.
It is treated accordingly.

Brightwork, Badges & Details

Special attention is given to:

  • polished and metallic surfaces

  • chrome, nickel, and anodized components

  • badges, emblems, and factory markings

  • exterior trim and fine body details

These elements are cleaned, polished, and refreshed by hand, with the goal of achieving a correct, factory-appropriate appearance — never artificial or exaggerated.

Wheels are fully detailed, and tires are treated to appear healthy and clean, not overly glossy.

Protection — Where It Makes Sense

Protective products, waxes, and coatings are used only where they provide real, long-term benefit to the material.

Nothing is applied automatically.

Ceramic Coatings

Ceramic coatings are not treated as a universal solution and are not applied indiscriminately.

Most importantly:
Ceramic coatings are not used on leather.

Ceramic products on leather:

  • seal the pores of the material

  • alter the natural texture and feel

  • negatively affect long-term elasticity

  • create an artificial, slippery surface layer

Our focus is the preservation of natural material behavior, not short-term visual effect.

Interior — Materials & Condition

The interior is where a car’s condition is most clearly experienced.

Interior work is carried out with strict respect for original materials, textures, and finishes.

Leather

Leather surfaces are cleaned and treated using multi-stage conditioning processes that:

  • allow the material to breathe

  • maintain softness and elasticity

  • slow the aging process

  • preserve the original tactile feel

The objective is not to make leather look artificially new,
but to keep it healthy, correct, and comfortable.

Plastics, Vinyl & Soft-Touch Surfaces

Plastic and vinyl components are cleaned and refreshed while preserving original structure, color, and finish.
Soft-touch surfaces are stabilized and repaired where necessary, without aggressive coatings or temporary solutions.

The interior should feel clean, balanced, and correct — not glossy or overstated.

Engine Bay — Aesthetic & Technical Care

On older vehicles, the engine bay is a visible and defining part of the car’s identity.

It is not hidden behind plastic covers.
It is meant to be seen — and it should look right.

Engine bay work is performed carefully and methodically, with full protection of sensitive components, wiring, and connections.

In agreement with the owner, visible engine components and surrounding elements are:

  • thoroughly cleaned

  • refreshed and painted where appropriate

  • refinished according to original or period-correct aesthetics

  • protected using suitable materials

The result is an engine bay that looks clean, attractive, and mechanically healthy — as these cars once did when the hood was opened.

A properly prepared engine bay also improves inspection, maintenance, and early detection of potential issues.

Details That Define the Standard

Heritage Care is defined by attention to details that collectively shape the overall quality of the vehicle.

This includes:

  • visible bolts, brackets, and metal components

  • rubber seals, gaskets, and joints

  • small exterior and interior elements

  • spare wheel, tools, and accompanying equipment

  • original stickers, labels, and factory details

These elements may not stand out individually, but together they create the impression of a properly maintained, coherent, and authentically preserved automobile.

Documentation & Process Photography

Every Heritage Care process is fully documented.

The vehicle is photographed:

  • before work begins

  • throughout all stages of the process

  • after completion

Photography covers the general condition of the vehicle, key details, and important stages of work performed.

This documentation provides the owner with:

  • a clear record of work carried out

  • transparent insight into the vehicle’s condition

  • long-term continuity of proper care

It also represents added value for future maintenance or potential sale.

Duration of the Heritage Care Process

The duration of the Heritage Care process depends on the condition of the vehicle and the agreed scope of work.

In practice, the process takes a minimum of 2 days, and can extend to 7 days or longer when required.

Each vehicle remains with us for as long as necessary to complete the work correctly — without rushing and without compromising quality.
